New Governing Body Takes Oath at Yadagirigutta Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple

Telangana Minister for Forests, Environment and Endowments, Konda Surekha, participated in the oath-taking ceremony of the newly constituted governing body of the Yadagirigutta Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple on Saturday and called upon the new leadership to transform the temple into one of the country’s foremost spiritual destinations.
The Minister received a traditional Poorna Kumbham welcome from temple priests upon her arrival and later took part in special religious rituals. Vedic scholars offered blessings, while Temple Executive Officer Bhavani Shankar presented her with a portrait of Lord Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy.During the ceremony, the newly appointed Chairman, M. Satyanarayana Reddy, along with members of the temple’s governing council, formally took the oath of office and assumed their responsibilities in the presence of the Minister.Addressing the gathering, Minister Konda Surekha said the Telangana Government, under the leadership of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, is committed to the development of temples and the improvement of facilities for devotees. She urged the governing body to work with dedication, transparency, and coordination to further strengthen the temple’s reputation and provide world-class amenities to pilgrims.
“The responsibility of elevating Yadadri into a nationally renowned spiritual centre now rests with the new governing body. Temple development, transparent administration, and better services for devotees should remain the top priorities,” the Minister said.She further emphasized that all development initiatives should preserve the temple’s sanctity, traditions, and spiritual heritage while ensuring that devotees enjoy a safe and comfortable pilgrimage experience.The event was attended by Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy, Beerla Ilaiah, temple officials, public representatives, and devotees.
