Walkathon to be flagged off at 6 AM in Kukatpally
Free BP, blood sugar, ECG, 2D Echo and cardiology consultations
Kukatpally, September 29 (The Journalist Post): To mark World Heart Day, Ramdevrao Hospital in Kukatpally, in collaboration with the World Heart Federation, organized a special walkathon and free cardiology medical camp on September 29. The walkathon was flagged off at 6:00 AM from the hospital premises by renowned Reiki therapist and author Lakshmi Kamalakar.
The programme was conducted under the supervision of the hospital’s Medical Director, Dr. Kamalakar. Eminent cardiologist Dr. S. Pradeep Reddy led the walkathon and provided expert consultations during the free medical camp. Participants were offered blood pressure checks, general random blood sugar (GRBS) testing, ECG and 2D Echo screenings, along with cardiology consultations at no cost.
Hospital CEO Dr. N. Yobu announced a 10 percent discount on further treatments and procedures recommended by doctors following the medical evaluation. Hospital representatives urged members of the public to make use of such initiatives and focus on regular heart-health screening, healthy lifestyle practices and early detection of cardiovascular risk factors.
