Irrigation Minister assures continued government support for agriculture and rural infrastructure in Suryapet district
SURYAPET, July 3: Minister for Irrigation and Civil Supplies, Capt. N. Uttam Kumar Reddy, on Friday undertook a walk through the streets of Ganugabanda village in Garidepally Mandal, interacting directly with farmers and local residents to understand their concerns.
During the visit, the Minister listened to issues raised by farmers regarding agriculture and rural development and assured them of the State Government’s continued commitment to strengthening the farming sector. He reiterated that the government remains focused on improving irrigation facilities, enhancing agricultural productivity, and accelerating rural infrastructure development to improve the livelihoods of farming communities.
As part of his official tour in Suryapet district, Capt. Uttam Kumar Reddy also participated in a series of government programmes alongside Kodad MLA N. Padmavathi Reddy. The programmes focused on reviewing developmental initiatives and reinforcing the government’s commitment to welfare and infrastructure projects across the district.
The Minister emphasized that the State Government is giving top priority to farmers’ welfare and is implementing development programmes aimed at ensuring sustainable agricultural growth and improved public services in rural areas.
