The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Friday announced a statewide agitation demanding the immediate release of pending fee reimbursement dues, accusing the Congress government of failing to fulfil its promises to students and jeopardising their educational future.
A workshop was held at the BJP State Office in Hyderabad, where party leaders called upon workers to stand firmly with students and organise protest programmes across Telangana to press the government for the immediate clearance of fee reimbursement arrears.
Addressing the gathering, BJP leaders alleged that the Congress government had deceived the student community by failing to release the pending reimbursements despite repeated assurances. They stated that the delay has placed thousands of students and their families under financial stress and urged the government to act without further delay.
The leaders announced that the BJP would intensify its agitation in the coming days through statewide protests, public awareness campaigns, and demonstrations to ensure justice for students. They said the party would continue its movement until all pending fee reimbursement dues are cleared.
The workshop was attended by BJP Legislature Party (BJLP) leader Aleti Maheshwar Reddy, MLA K. Venkata Ramana Reddy, MLCs Chinnamail Anji Reddy and Malka Komaraiah, BJP State General Secretary Dr. N. Gautam Rao, Mahila Morcha State President Dr. Shilpa Reddy, BJYM State President Ganesh Kunde, State Secretaries Mahipal Reddy and Bharat Prasad, former MLA Guvvala Balaraju, and senior BJP leader Amarnath Sarangula. The leaders discussed the strategy and action plan for the upcoming statewide protest programmes.
